Basics
How do I get more information on settings?
All the sections have a question mark on the top right corner. You will find valuable information there and in the question mark beside individual fields.
What is the Active setting for?
Any item for sale that is Active is available online. When not active then that item is only available to the staff from the Add Purchase page.
What is the Position setting for?
The Position of any item is the order in which it is displayed. The lower the number, the higher the priority of display.
What is a Calendar?
Calendars are just buckets to group your Services together.
What is a Category?
Categories are just buckets to group memberships and/or products together.
What are Services?
In our solution, Services can be applications, classes, events, space rentals or 1 on 1 services that you offer. These are all configured in the individual pages and need to have a Schedule (when the service is offered) to be available.
What is the difference between the Registration Closed and Inactive status?
When a Class or Event is set to Registration Closed, visitors can still view the form, but cannot register. When it is Inactive, it will not be displayed online.
How do I set a member to Active?
For members, you cannot assign them the Active status. A contact becomes an Active member when they have a Membership and a Membership End date that is not expired.
What is a custom field?
Custom Fields are additional fields that you can create (up to 20) that are part of a client/member profile.
These are for your own use and should be created for information that you will need to do searches on.
If I cannot find the answer online, what should I do?
If you cannot find the answer to something or need help with your setup, please contact your account executive. They are your best source to guide you through the setup process and schedule one on one training when needed.
Bookings
How will I know if someone makes a booking in my calendar?
For each type of event you can configure how you would like to be notified. You can skip notifications or receive them by SMS or Email. You can also set
the notifications for a list of users.
Can I still take clients calls for appointments and reservations?
You have no limit over your own schedule and can enter client phone bookings into your calendar.
What if I want to add a booking outside of my regular time schedule?
Clients are constraint to book online within the timeframe that is available in your calendar. However you have no limit on your corporate calendar. You can double book and extend your hours as you wish while clients will only see your standard schedule.
How do I create a recurring booking?
When you create your booking inside the calendar, check the Repeat checkbox and define the recurrence with the schedule settings that are presented.
If I have a recurring booking and need to delete a single occurrence will that affect the entire series?
No, you can delete any single booking from a recurring booking or the entire series all together.
Classes
How do I create a private class?
The same as a class open for registration, but with the "Active" setting unchecked.
When we have a recurring class and a person registers, are they registering for every class?
This depends on the option "Class Type".
When it is set to "Session" then they can only register for all the classes. If the class is every Tuesday from February to March, then they are registered in all of them.
When it is set to "Single Class" then they are only registered for the date and time that they choose.

Can I keep attendance and grades for a class?
Yes, the attendance is set in the Class Registration page. Once someone has attended a class you can set their grade for that class in their profile.
Email Marketing
Where do I set the time to send out my newsletter?
There are two fields at the bottom of the form called: Send Date and Send Time to schedule when the email will be sent out.
Can I send emails to only a subset of the contacts in my database?
Yes, you can use the custom fiels or tags to categorize you r contacts. These fields are displayed can be use to filter your database when sending an email.
Can I manage my mailing list?
Yes, we have a setting to automatically ask clients to enroll into your mailing list. Once enrolled, you can select all of them for your next newsletters and provide an unsubscribe link.
How do I create and track an email campaign?
First, you create a Campaign message from the Templates page. After, simply use that Template when creating your next Communication and the Campaign Name will automatically be mapped to the distribution and available in Reporting to see the open rate.
Will I be notified is someone in my database has an invalid email address?
Yes, when we cannot send an email to someone their Status is updated to "Invalid Email" and you will receive an email with the person name and email. All email communications to that person are disabled until you get a new email and change the Status back to Confirmed.
Events
Can I have multiple prices for my event?
Yes, you would create tickets with a number of places available per ticket with a price for that purpose.
How is the number of tickets available to an event calculated if I do not set a count per ticket?
The quantity of available tickets without a count is taken from the total number of places available for the event. If you have a total of 100 places and two types of ticket (Adult and Child) with 40 tickets sold, then you have 60 Adult and Child ticket available. When you sell a new ticket, the number available per ticket is deducted for both.
How does the electronic ticket work?
The electronic ticket is populated upon registration and will be sent as a PDF along with the event registration confirmation email.
How do I stop online registrations at a certain time before my event starts?
We have a setting for this in the Company Settings page under Widget Settings called "Number of hours before registrations stops". You can also stop the registration for a single event at any time by changing the Status to "Registration Closed".
Is there a limit to the number of tickets one person can buy?
By default, no, there is not. You can set a limit with the "Registration maximum" field.
Can I sell products with a registration?
Yes, simply click on the "Products" button, once the event is created. You can have as many products as needed and they can be optional or required.
How do I put a list of values for an optional product?
Once the product is added, click on drop down menu beside the name of the Product and click on "Product Options". Enter a number in "Number of choices" to create a list up to that number.

Is Findjoo really flexible for all business types?
Findjoo is designed to be for all types of businesses. We have many booking modes and types available. If you don't see your business type or need some features to use Findjoo then simply contact us with the details. If we
can accomodate your needs there's no reason why we won't.
Do I need a website to use Findjoo?
No. You can setup your schedules and manage your booking without having a website.
Can I integrate the Findjoo Widget into my own website?
Yes. The Integration page contains all the links and content from Findjoo. You can embed all the content directly inside your Website.
Can I embed the Findjoo Widget into Facebook?
Yes, you can add our Widget into your Facebook page. The URL link is available from the Integration page.

If I use Findjoo will I still be HIPAA compliant?
For any business that is subject to HIPAA, compliance is an organization-wide obligation requiring procedural standards and business practices that protect the privacy and security of patient/client information. As part of these obligations, the business must ensure it only utilizes software that has adequate safeguards to protect patient/client information. Findjoo online scheduling software incorporates such technological and procedural safeguards. We have a Business Associate Agreement that can be found here.
Memberships
Is there a limit to the number of membership types that I create?
No, you can create as many type of memberships as needed.
Do you support family memberships?
Yes, the easiest way to configure this is by setting the Number of Members field of each membership. This option is available with the Membership Options of the membership.<br/><br/>The system automatically creates the fields for spouses and children depending on the number of members set.
Can I configure automatic renewals for my memberships?
Yes, there is the Auto-Renew setting in the Membership setting section. You can also control whether each membership is set for auto-renewal or not using the Category Options of that membership.
How do I restrict registration to members?
You can create a Calendar in Schedules page and restrict the calendar to members only with the checkbox. Then link the calendar with the event in the Schedule.
Can my memberships end on a specific date?
Yes, you can specify the end. You will need to change this date when your memberships roll over for the new year.
Do you offer a member portal for my members?
Yes, the members portal with your organization colors is provided and lets your members view their membership, history, purchases, agenda and update their personal information.
Do you offer a membership directory?
Yes, you can configure the layout, filters and columns of your members directory. You can also decide if you want the directory to be private or public.

Requests and Wait list
How does the Request booking mode works?
Users send you a request for an appointment or a reservation with their availabilities. You then reply suggesting a date and time for the booking. If the user
accepts the booking is confirmed. You can go back and forth until you find a time that works for both sides.
What if I want to confirm every booking?
You can choose the Request booking mode from your company settings. Using the Request booking mode allows you to review and confirm before the booking is added to your calendar.
How does the wait list work?
If you have more requests than you have openings in your calendar you can keep requests in a wait list. Every request has a list of availabilities and you
can assign a time slot when one opens.
How does the auto-fill of cancellations work?
If you have checked this option, once a cancellation occurs then your wait list is automatically processed to find the one or many requests that fit in the
vacated time slot. The requester then receives a notification and can decide to accept the vacated timeslot or wait again.
Scheduling
How do I schedule a one time event / class?
The schedule for the event / class need to have a "Frequency" with "Once".
How do I schedule a recurring event / class?
